Ombudsman Services

Om'-buds-man is a Swedish word that means
"one who speaks on behalf of another"
An Ombudsman is a trained staff person or volunteer who receives, investigates and reports on complaints and grievances relating to quality of life for people living in long-term care facilities and/or receiving mental health services. 
 
Lower Columbia CAP provides Ombudsman Services for:
  • People who live in licensed long-term care facilities in Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Clark, Klickitat and Skamania Counties.
  • People receiving mental health services in Cowlitz County.

All contact with Ombudsman Services is private and confidential and may be made anonymously. By Washington State Law, if you lodge a complaint or grievance,
